Italy's president invites M5S-Lega coalition to form govt

Italy's president Sergio Mattarella has invited a coalition made up of the anti-establishment Five Star Movement (M5S) and the far-right Lega (League) to form a government in Rome to be led by a Florence university law professor Giuseppe Conte, who will serve as the country's next prime minister. The two parties emerged from the 04 March with the highest number of votes and finally agreed on a shared agenda including lower taxes, increasing spending and tougher laws on migration.
