ITU says Uzbekistan, Brazil most dynamic in telecoms

Uzbekistan is the most dynamic county in the telecommunications segment, followed by Brazil, according to the 'Measuring the Information Society 2012' study published by the ITU. The survey measures the performance of 161 countries, taking into account eleven indicators, including access infrastructure and the capacity of the population to use it. According to Brazilian press reports, Brazil is the leading country in Latin America for mobile internet penetration, with 21 connections per 100 inhabitants.
