ITV H1 results hit by covid-19 but advertising revenue declines starting to slow

UK broadcaster ITV said results for the first half were hard hit by the coronavirus, affecting production and advertising, and creating uncertainty looking forward. Nevertheless, the broadcaster said it is seeing an "upward trajectory" as productions restart and advertisers return. ITV said it also made good progress with its digital transformation, with its Hub investment plan contributing to the 13 percent higher online viewing and 15 percent more monthly active users.
