Ivory Coast regulator sets QoS fines totalling XOF 5 bln for MTN, Orange and Moov

Ivory Coast's national regulator Artci has inflicted fines amounting to XOF 5 billion on mobile operators MTN, Orange and Moov for failing to meet their quality of service obligations, reports APA. Orange has received a fine of XOF 2.088 billion, equivalent to 0.5 percent of the revenues achieved in the country during 2015. MTN faces a penalty of XOF 1.736 billion, while Moov has been asked to pay XOF 1.150 billion (0.61% and 0.95% of their respective revenues in 2015).
