IXcellerate attracts new financing from Goldman Sachs

Russian data centre operator IXcellerate has concluded an agreement with Goldman Sachs on a USD 15 million convertible loan, reports Comnews.ru.  The company plans to invest the funds in the expansion of its IXcellerate Moscow One data centre in the northof the capital city. Goldman Sachs will get a 25 percent stake in IXcellerate. IFC and Sumitomo also own undisclosed stakes in the company. The total investments attracted by IXcellerate to date reach USD 35 million.
