Izzi Telecom launches services in San Luis Potosi

Mexican triple play operator Izzi Telecom, owned by media conglomerate Televisa Group, has launched services in the central city of San Luis Potosi. The company has rolled out 1,700km of fibre to replace the old cable network and will offer landline, 100Mbps broadband and pay-TV services on both a linear and a VoD basis to the 1 million or so residents of San Luis Potosi. Subscribers will also be able to access the company's Izzi TV platform with over 200 channels, including 60 in HD, and 20,000 VoD titles, said the company in a statement.
