Japan adds more than 1.7 mln mobile customers in September quarter

Japan ended September with 185.22 million mobile customers, after adding more than 1.70 million users from 185.52 million in the quarter ended 30 June. Mobile operator Softbank had 44.30 million mobile subscribers in the quarter ended 30 September, up from 43.66 million in June, according to a report from the Telecommunications Carrier Association (TCA).
