Japan adds nearly 1.4 mln mobile customers in Q3, ends December 2020 with 186 mln subs

Japan ended December 2020 with 186.62 million mobile customers, after adding 1.39 million users from 185.2 million in the quarter ended 30 June. Mobile operator Softbank had 44.74 million mobile subscribers in the quarter ended 31 December, up from 44.30 million in June, according to a report from the Telecommunications Carrier Association (TCA).
