Japan tops 162 mln mobile subscribers in March

Japan ended March 2017 with 162.7 million mobile customers, up from 160.7 million in December 2016. Mobile operator Softbank had 39.31 million mobile subscribers in the quarter ended 31 March 2017, up from 39.28 million in December 2016, according to a report from the Telecommunications Carrier Association (TCA).
