Japanese telecom equipment market recovers in December quarter, exports up

The Japanese telecom equipment market was worth JPY 980.1 billion in the three months to December 2020, up 19.4 percent from a year earlier, according to figures from industry group CIAJ. Growth was led by a rebound in demand for mobile handsets and expanding 5G networks.
