Jasmine's quarterly profit plunges 99% to THB 85 mln

Thai telecommunications group Jasmine International reported first-quarter net profit of THB 85 billion, down 99 percent from THB 12.7 billion in the first quarter of 2015. Revenues totalled THB 3.85 billion, up 12 percent from THB 3.44 billion in Q1 2015. First-quarter EBITDA was THB 1.45 billion, which represents a decrease of 6 percent year-on-year. EBITDA margin stood at 38 percent, down from 51 percent in the first quarter of 2015. In the first quarter of 2016, Jasmine added 85,773 3BB subscribers.
