Jawbone partners with Amex for tap-and-pay wearables

Thursday 16 April 2015 | 08:47 CET | News
American Express and Jawbone have signed a new partnership deal, giving US Amex members the ability to tap to pay with the new Jawbone UP4 fitness tracker in the US. Customers will have to first connect their card via the latest UP app for iOS and Android. The service will be available wherever merchants accept payments via American Express. The new Jawbone UP4 tracker will become available this summer. The UP4 tracker will feature the same slim design and multi-sensor platform as the UP3 tracker, with advanced sleep and activity tracking, and heart health monitoring.
