Jazz Q4 revenue jumps nearly 23% on mobile data business growth

Tuesday 5 March 2019 | 08:24 CET | News
Pakistani operator Jazz saw its fourth-quarter revenue jump 22.7 percent year-on-year to PKR 49.5 billion. Around 9.9 percentage points of this growth came from business performance, 12.8 percentage points were driven by the suspension of some taxes collected from customers by mobile operators in the fourth quarter of 2018, which provided the whole market with additional revenue growth on account of higher usage by customers, parent company Veon reported. Mobile data revenue growth reached 86.7 percent year-on-year.
