Jazztel adds 38,000 clients at expense of Movistar, Vodafone

Spain's three leading operators, Movistar (Telefonica), Vodafone and Orange, shed 63,500, 26,000 and 3,200 mobile customers respectively in May, according to the monthly survey of ported lines published by website ADSL Zone. Vodafone's monthly net loss was partly offset by the results of its low-cost MVNO brand, Lowi, which attracted around 6,000 new customers, while Ono, now owned by Vodafone, gained 9,800 mobile customers. Orange's low-cost brand, Simyo, also attracted around 8,700 new customers in May. Jazztel once again posted the highest monthly gains, attracting a further 38,100 mobile
