Jazztel to invest EUR 180 million in expanding FTTH

Spanish broadband provider Jazztel has announced a EUR 180 million investment by 2014 to accelerate the deployment of its FTTH network, above all in Catalonia. The operator will roll out its fibre network in 14 Catalan cities, starting with Badalona in the province of Barcelona, and expanding to L'Hospitalet, Cerdanyola, Esplugues de Llobregat, Ruby, Sant Feliu, Cornella, Granollers, Martorell, Sant Adria de Besos and Mollet del Valles by the end of next year.
