JDSU expects company split to complete on 1 Aug

JDSU provided some more information around the planned spin-off of its Communications and Commercial Optical Products business as a separate company to be named Lumemtum Holdings. JDSU said separation will complete on 1 August and that Lumemtum shares will be distributed to shareholders on the first trading day after that, on 3 August. Lumentum and Viavi will begin regular trading on NASDAQ on 4 August, the ex-dividend date. JDSU shareholders will receive one share of Lumentum common stock for every five shares of JDSU; around 80.1 percent of Lumentum's outstanding shares will be distributed
