JMA launches edge network-focused CUSP unit

JMA Wireless, global wireless technology systems provider, has set up a new division to support the growing need for services that sit at the network edge. The new unit, called CUSP, will focus on both an integrated MEC (Multi-Access Edge Compute) platform as well as delivering differentiated experiences to enterprise and private networks. JMA said the aim is to address emerging needs at the edge including complex web-facing applications, immersive mobile experiences leveraging virtual and augmented reality, integrated IoT and edge gaming.
