Joao Cadete de Matos becomes new Anacom president

Portugal's Council of Ministers has given its green light to the nomination of Joao Cadete de Matos as president of the National Communications Authority (Anacom) for the next six years. Cadete de Matos will replace Fatima Barros, whose term of office expired at the end of May and who has been in charge of Portugal's telecommunications regulator since 2012.
