Johannesburg contracts public service platform from SAP, EOH, Gijima and Accenture

The City of Johannesburg has launched an integrated ICT system as part of its smart city strategy, BusinessTech reported. Global software firm SAP is involved alongside EOH, Gijima and Accenture. The system will provide municipal services on an integrated platform, with most applications running on a mobile platform, making municipal data transparent and available to the public through an open portal.
