Jordan telecom revenues grow by 5% in 2018

Revenues at telecom service providers in Jordan grew by 5 percent in 2018 to JOD 673 million from JOD 641 million in 2017. The primary sources of revenue for Zain, Orange Mobile and Umniah were call, data and interconnection services, which comprised 35 percent, 42 percent and 20 percent of their profits respectively. The other 3 percent came from the sale of telecommunication devices, according to a report from the regulatory authority.
