Juice Broadband gains BDUK approval for subsidy scheme

Wednesday 30 March 2016 | 09:46 CET | News
UK rural fixed-wireless ISP Juice Broadband has received approval from the Broadband Delivery UK programme to be a supplier on the GBP 60 million "2 Mbps for all" Broadband basic broadband subsidiary programme, reports ISPreview. The scheme is focused on helping an estimated 300,000 premises that might not benefit from the BDUK's deployment of 24 Mbps+ wireline services. The subsidy offers up to GBP 350 of grants to help defray the cost of installing satellite broadband, but has been extended to other wireless ISPs, including Quickline and Wessex Internet.
