Jumia appoints Mwangi as new Kenya CEO to replace Chappatte

Jumia Kenya has announced the appointment of Betty Mwangi as its new CEO, taking over from Sam Chappatte. She will focus on accelerating growth as the company expands as the number one online shopping platform. Mwangi has been recognised as one of the top ten most influential women in the mobile telecommunication industry by MCI and was also named twice as one of the top 20 most powerful African women.
