Jumia Kenya to train 3,000 women in e-commerce

Jumia Kenya has tied up with SheCares International to give over 3,000 women the opportunity to undergo e-commerce training, in an effort to support women entrepreneurs. They were selected by SheCares International from the Global Women Summit, launched by the Kenyan government. Sam Chappatte, MD of Jumia Kenya, said the training will empower women to exploit opportunities in the virtual space and break technological barriers.
