Jumia revenue falls 7% to EUR 29.3 mln in Q1

African e-commerce group Jumia said revenues decreased by 6.9 percent year-on-year to EUR 29.3 million in the first quarter. The firm's gross merchandise volume (GMV) fell 11 percent to EUR 190 million, compared to GMV adjusted for perimeter changes as well as previously reported improper sales practices of EUR 214 million in the first quarter of 2019.
