Jumia revenue grows 34% in 2019, customers pass 6 mln

African e-commerce group Jumia said its revenue for the fourth quarter rose to EUR 49.3 million from EUR 43.3 million in the same period of 2018. Full year revenue rose over 24 percent to EUR 160.4 million. The firm's gross merchandise volume (GMV) fell to EUR 301 million in Q4 from EUR 311 million a year earlier, taking full year 2019 GMV to EUR 1.1 billion, up 33 percent compared to 2018.
