Juniper wins Sunet order for 3D Universal Edge routers

Juniper Networks said that Swedish university network Sunet is using Juniper's MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers to create what it called Sweden's most advanced academic data network. They will enable Sunet to direct traffic via the optimal route, increasing efficiency and elasticity. They will also create a converaged IP and optical grid that should reduce Sunet's operating costs by 20 percent.
