KabelBW launches Horizon

German cable operator Kabel BW started offering the multimedia TV platform Horizon on 3 November. Subscribers will have access to live TV and more than 8,000 items from the Kabel BW video library over the Horizon box developed by parent company Liberty Global. Existing cable customers can upgrade to Horizon by renting the HD receiver from EUR 5 and the HD recorder from EUR 8 per month.
