Kakao establishes Environmental, Social, and Governance Committee

South Korean mobile messenger operator Kakao has established its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee under its board of directors. The Committee will be responsible for reviewing the direction of the company's sustainable business operational strategies and managing and supervising its performance and issues. The ESG Committee is comprised of Kakao chairman Brian Kim, and independent directors Sejung Choi and Saerom Park.
