Kaltura to offer cloud TV on Microsoft Azure

Video delivery specialist Kaltura has announced an agreement with Microsoft Azure to collaborate on a cloud-based OTT platform to deliver content to any device. Kaltura said it's integrating its software with Microsoft Azure to encode, store, and deliver OTT TV content from the cloud. The new platform can handle ingestion, media preparation, content and household management, and monetisation for a wide variety of business models across any device, and can be launched in as little as a few weeks.
