Karstadt to accept NFC payments

Tuesday 22 September 2015 | 11:45 CET | News

The reason for the NFC announcement is that that credit card provider Mastercard demands that newly-installed card terminals at checkouts are equipped with NFC. Most recently, supermarket chain Aldi Nord also introduced smartphone payments.
