Kaspersky Lab says 14% of Nigerians faced cyberthreats in Q3

Kaspersky Lab has published the details of key security incidents for the latest quarter, based ondata from millions of Kaspersky Lab product users in 213 countries. It said in the third quarter of 2015, 45.3 percent of participants in Nigeria encountered malware that spread in local networks, via USBs and storage disks, while 13.8 percent faced online cyberthreats. This puts the country in the 64th and 128th positions worldwide by the percentage of users who encountered the two types of malware.
