Kaspersky, Schneider Electric sign cooperation agreement

Kaspersky Laboratory has signed a cooperation agreement with Schneider Electric. Under the deal, the parties will together develop cyber protection systems for infrastructure. The cooperation will be carried out on the premises of the economic area Innopolis located in the Republic of Tatarstan. Kaspersky Laboratory already has its R&D units there; Schneider Electric plans to open some.

Under the framework of a working group, the companies will discuss the launch of a joint product for the Russian market and a pilot project on cyber-security in Schneider Electric Monoblock plant.

Inter-operation and compatibility of the Kaspersky and Schneider Electric systems have already been tested. The parties have signed a protocol on compatibility.
