Kaspersky's free anti-virus software launched globally

Kaspersky Laboratory has announced that it will be launching its free antivirus software worldwide to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The company began testing the product in select regions a year and a half ago, releasing trial versions in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, China and the Nordic countries. It offers a basic file, email and web antivirus, quarantines malware and comes with automatic updates but doesn't include Parental Controls, Online Payment Protection and the VPN included in the premium version.
