Kazakhstan sees all municipal centres with 4G coverage by year-end

All municipal centres in Kzakhstan are expected to be covered with LTE services by the end of this year, according to Mikhail Komissarov, the deputy chairman of the Committee of State Control on ICT. LTE services are currently available in all cities and towns with more than 50,000 residents, reports Profit.kz. The 3G network covers 86.6 percent of the country‘s population.

Kazakhstan has in total around 26 million mobile subscribers.
