KDDI expands 4G LTE network coverage on Mt. Fuji

Japanese operator KDDI has announced it has expanded its network coverage on Mt. Fuji climbing trails and at mountain huts and rest stops. KDDI is expanding coverage of the summit of Mt. Fuji from 5 July, to coincide with the start of the climbing season and expectations of heavy use of smartphones and mobile phones.
