KDDI, SoftBank, Rakuten Mobile to trial base station equipment on Tepco poles

Tepco Power Grid, KDDI, SoftBank and Rakuten Mobile Network reached a deal to collaborate on trials of base station site and equipment sharing using Tepco PG's utility poles and other electric power infrastructure, ahead of the introduction of 5G in Japan. The trials are due to begin in H1.
