KDDI, SoftBank to launch 20GB tariff plans for starting price of JPY 3,980

Japanese operators KDDI and SoftBank have announced plans to introduce low-cost mobile service plans with 20GB of data per month. KDDI plans to launch a JPY 3,980 tariff plan under its UQ mobile low-cost service in February 2021, The Japan Times reports. With an additional JPY 500, subscribers will be able to make calls of up to one hour per month.
