Kenya fines telcos KES 300 mln over poor quality of services

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) fined three mobile operators a total of KES 311 million for failing to meet the quality of service standards for the 2015/2016 financial year.  According to the QoS report by the CA, neither Safaricom, Airtel nor Telkom Kenya achieved the 80 percent minimum threshold for a number of QoS parameters for the fourth year running.
