Kenya holds e-learning forum from 04-06 September

The Kenyan government is planning a forum through the ICT Trust Fund with private industry players to discuss how to integrate e-learning in schools. The conference will provide a platform for educators to share experiences on how to make ICT in education mainstream and to explore how best to achieve ICT integration in curriculum delivery. The Education Conference on e-Learning is set for 04-06 September to be held at Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development. The government has started to search for companies to supply laptops for primary school pupils with a budget of up to KES 17.4 billion
