Kenyan banks start PesaLink mobile transfers in next month

Kenyan banks are to launch a mobile cash transfer system after nearly five years of strategy planning. The platform is called PesaLink and will enable bank customers to move between KES 10 and KES 999,999 from one account to another. It will transfer cash between mobile and internet banking channels, ATM and branch, and will go on stream in the next month.
