Kenyan broadcasters sign royalty tariff MoU with musicians

Kenya's broadcasters and musicians have reached a deal on monthly royalties, ending a feud that has lasted for more than five years, reports Business Daily. The agreement between the Media Owners Association (MoA) and three societies licensed to collect royalties on behalf of music artistes will end the tariffs that had been gazetted on 21 April by Attorney General (AG) Githu Muigai.
