Kenyan cyber threats rise to 26.6 mln in Q4 from 11.3 mln in Q3

Kenyan organisations were hit by 26.6 million cyber threat events in the fourth quarter to June from 11.3 million detected in the period January-March, statistics from the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) shows. This increase in detections by the National Kenya Computer Incident Response Team Coordination Centre (National KE-CIRT/CC) is attributed to the global increase in malware, including ransomware attacks.
