Kenyan internet subscriptions rise to 18.8 mln in Q3

The number of data/internet subscriptions grew to 18.8 million in the three months to 31 March from 16.3 million recorded during the previous quarter, according to the Communications Authority (CA) of Kenya. This represented a growth of 14.3 percent in the third quarter. The number of internet users rose to 29.1 million from 26.1 million in the second quarter. This increased internet access to 71.7 percent of the population in the third quarter to March from 64.1 percent in the second quarter to 31 December.
