Kenyan IT sector to be worth KES 85 bln in 2 years

Kenya's IT market is expected to be worth KES 85 billion in the next two years compared with KES 64 billion by the end of 2013. According to the 'Technology, Media and Telecommunication Predictions' report by Deloitte, this is driven by continued investment in the market and a rise in demand for IT products. Deloitte East Africa Tax Head Nikhil Hira said the launch of 4G will play a great role in not only increasing demand for data use, but improving customer services, Capital News reported.
