Kenyan mobile money transfers rise 13% in Q4 to KES 2.28 trillion

The value of Kenyan mobile money transactions grew 13.5 percent in the fourth quarter from April-June to KES 2.28 trillion compared with KES 1.92 trillion in the same period of 2018. Data from the Communications Authority show that active mobile money subscriptions increased to KES 32.6 million from KES 29.6 million in 2018.
