Kenyan mobile money volumes rise to KES 2.87 trln in first 8 months of 2019

Mobile money volumes reached KES 2.87 trillion in the first eight months of 2019, a 10.3 percent rise from KES 2.6 trillion in the same period last year, Business Daily reported, citing the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK). This followed an increase in provision for services payable via mobile money, as well as goods bought locally and abroad.
