Kenyan start-up Sendy plans second fundraising round before year-end

Kenyan start-up Sendy, which runs an application linking delivery drivers with customers, is starting a second round of fundraising to expand in East Africa. Sendy was founded four years ago, is used by around 4,000 businesses and 50,000 individuals, and has so far raised USD 3 million. COO Malaika Judd gave no target amount but said that it will carry out a series B investment round, hopefully before the end of the year.
