Kickstarter to launch in Spain on 02 June

US crowdfunding service Kickstarter will launch in Spain on 02 June. Up until now Kickstarter was only present in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands, although the service is about to launch in France. Kickstarter takes a 5 percent commission on money raised on its platform, but only if the project is successfully funded. Since 2009 more than 8 million people have contributed around EUR 1.5 billion to fund more than 80,000 creative projects in fields such as music, design, film, fashion and technology.
