Kiruna picks NetAdmin software to manage Gironet fibre grid

NetAdmin Systems says that Kiruna, Sweden's northernmost and largest city in terms of area, has selected Netadmin software and system integrator Maintrac for its Gironet programme to provide fibre network access and associated services to more than 90 percent of the population. The initiative is taking place as the entire city is being physically moved because of the risk of ground collapse risk that mining activities has brought on over the years.
