Kogi State tax office seals MTN and Airtel Nigeria offices over unpaid tax

The facilities of MTN Nigeria and Airtel have been sealed off by the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service over their alleged refusal to pay NGN 470 million tax to the state government, ThisDay reported. The director in charge of Legal Services and Enforcement at the agency, Jamil Isah, disclosed that Airtel owed over NGN 321 million while MTN refused to meet its obligation of over NGN 140 million to Kogi State Government.
